The Legacy Initiative
The Legacy Initiative aims to empower Black and underserved farmers by enhancing financial resilience, expanding market access, and providing support for retirement planning and college readiness, ultimately fostering generational wealth and transformative contributions to the agricultural community.
BEAS
The BEAS Fellowship connects accounting students with farmers, offering training and mentorship in farm business management and bookkeeping. Focused on supporting Black and underserved farmers, the program aims to enhance financial management in small to medium-sized farms.
BANC
The BANC campaign is an informal network aimed at creating a cooperative initiative designed to preserve and strengthen programs serving Black and underserved farmers through shared staffing, resource pooling, and collaborative capacity-building.
GIBS
GIBS is a transformative step toward an agricultural economy that values diversity, equity, and resilience. By investing in producer capacity, opening new market avenues, and fostering innovative, value-aligned partnerships, FHF is charting a path toward thriving livelihoods for small and midsized farmers, and a healthier, more sustainable food system for all.
